Who we are

Google Photos Delete Tool is made by Sylphx Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16438428). Registered office: 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: hi@sylphx.com, +44 333 335 7935.

The extension

The extension runs only on photos.google.com, inside your browser. Your photos, thumbnails and fingerprints never leave your device. It has no server, no analytics and no telemetry. A Pro token is checked on your device and never sent anywhere.

This website

If you allow it, this site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and Google Ads to measure which ads bring visitors. These set cookies and send Google your browser details, an online identifier and the pages you view. You choose in the cookie banner:

• Accept all: analytics and ad measurement. If you accept all, the ad click id, which we also pass to Stripe as a reference (the checkout client_reference_id) so a purchase can be matched to an ad.
• Analytics only: analytics cookies; no ad cookies, no ad personalisation.
• Reject: no analytics or ad cookies. In the UK, EEA and Switzerland this is the default until you choose.

We never send Google your name, email or anything you type. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings. Your choice is stored in your browser (local storage key gpdt_consent). Google Analytics keeps event data for 14 months.

Pro purchases

Stripe processes Pro payments. We never see your card number. Stripe sends us your email, country, the amount and the date. We use your email only to send your Pro token and to answer you about your order. We keep order records for 6 years because UK tax law requires it.

Lawful bases

• Analytics and ad cookies, and passing the ad click id to Stripe as a checkout reference: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Delivering Pro and support: performing our contract with you.
• Order records: our legal obligation to keep tax records.

Who receives data

Google (Google Analytics, Google Ads) and Stripe (payments), under their data processing terms. They may process data in the United States under the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it, or to stop using it. Email hi@sylphx.com. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local data protection authority.

Children

This site and the tool are not directed at children under 13.

Changes

When this notice changes we update the date at the top.
