The anymd software

anymd runs on your machine and sends nothing to Sylphx: no telemetry, no account, no API key. Your documents stay on your machine. anymd makes a network request only when you ask it to: fetching a URL you pass (only that URL), or downloading an OCR or speech model when you opt in (from Hugging Face, checked against a pinned SHA-256).

This website

• Hosting. The site is served by GitHub Pages. GitHub receives your IP address and request details to deliver and protect the site, under the GitHub Privacy Statement.
• No tracking on the documentation. The documentation pages load no analytics, advertising or third-party scripts and set no cookies.
• The anymd Pro pages (/pro and /pro/thanks) use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion measurement, provided by Google, to see how people find anymd Pro and which ads work. You choose in the cookie banner: Accept all, Analytics only, or Reject, and you can change it at any time from "Cookie settings" on those pages. In the UK, the EEA and Switzerland nothing is stored until you choose. Google may set cookies and process your IP address, device and browser details and, if you accept all, the ad click id, which we also pass to Stripe as a reference so a purchase can be matched to an ad. We never send Google your name or email. Lawful basis: your consent. Google keeps analytics data for up to 14 months. See how Google uses data.
• Buying anymd Pro. Stripe processes your payment and gives us your email address, country and the purchase details. We use your email to send your licence token, answer support and handle refunds, and keep purchase records for 6 years because tax law requires it. Lawful basis: performing our contract with you and our legal obligations. Stripe's privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy.
• Your browser's storage. The site stores your light/dark choice and search index in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.
• Playground. Files you drop into the playground are converted in your browser with WebAssembly and are never uploaded.
• Email. If you email us, we use your message and address to reply, and keep them for as long as the conversation needs, then up to 2 years.
• Your licence token contains the email address you bought with, so we can recognise it if you need help. anymd checks it on your machine and never sends it anywhere.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or object to its use, by emailing hi@sylphx.com. We answer within one month. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local data protection authority.
