anymd Pro terms ​

Updated 2026-10-01. These terms apply when you buy anymd Pro. The free anymd software stays under the MIT licence; these terms cover only the Pro licence.

What you buy ​

A licence token that unlocks the anymd Pro operations in anymd 8.4.0 and later: video timelines and frames (inspect operations video_timeline and render_frame, and the timeline option of read and outline) and cite-check (inspect operation cite_check).

Price and payment ​

US$29, paid once, including any VAT or sales tax we must charge. No subscription. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see your card number.

Your licence ​

  • The licence is for one person. A company may buy one licence for each person who uses Pro.
  • It does not expire, and it works with future anymd releases that include the Pro operations.
  • Do not share, publish or resell your token. We may stop issuing tokens to anyone who does.
  • The Pro operations are part of the anymd binary, which stays under the MIT licence; the token is what licenses you to use the Pro operations.

Delivery ​

We email your token to the address you give at checkout, usually within a few hours. Activation is described on the anymd Pro page.

Refunds and cancellation ​

Pro is digital content delivered immediately. At checkout you ask us to supply it straight away and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once your licence token is delivered. If you bought without that consent, you can cancel within 14 days of purchase as the law provides. If Pro does not work as described and we cannot fix it, email hi@sylphx.com and we will put it right or refund you. If we refund you, your licence ends and you must stop using and delete the token.

What Pro does and does not prove ​

Cite-check reports whether a quote occurs in the extracted text at a page and location; it does not prove the statement is true or that OCR read the source correctly. Video scene changes are detected cuts, a heuristic. You are responsible for decisions you make with the results.

Warranty and liability ​

If Pro does not work as described and we cannot fix it, we put it right or refund you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer. Otherwise our total liability to you is limited to the price you paid.

Law ​

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction. Consumers in the rest of the UK or the EU keep the protection of the mandatory law of their country and may bring claims locally.
